Freedom 1500 model is a large, luxury home elevator with a hydraulic driving system. The Freedom 1500 elevator has a capacity of 1500lbs, making it the largest size home model.

The Freedom 1500 features automatic side-sliding doors, which is a significant upgrade over the accordion gates in most residential elevators. These side-sliding doors can be finished in stainless steel, paintable steel, or a variety of wood or designer veneers.

The elevator's cab runs up to 40 feet per minute, and the elevator can travel to heights of 50 feet with five stops. The elevator car has a height of 96 inches, and dimensions of the platform inside can be 40"x48", 44"x54", or 44"x60". Safety features for this elevator include battery-powered lowering, battery backup lighting, and automatic door locks.

Installation of the Freedom 1500 home elevator will take from four to six days. A machine room is required for this elevator. In most regions, the machine room can be as small as 3’ wide by 2’ deep. The elevator power and a functional telephone jack must be present in the machine room. The telephone line will be routed from the machine room to the elevator cab.
